Join the Scientific Committee
As a Scientific Committee member, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of the technical content of the conference by evaluating the most recent water-related research and projects.
Requirements
As a conference by and for young water professionals, we are looking for Scientific Committee members with either:
- PhD on a water-related topic or
- At least 2 years of experience working in the water sector (academia, industry, governmental, NGO etc.)
Abstract review procedure
The Scientific Committee will review a selection of abstracts submitted to the conference based on the provided scoring guide. Each reviewer will review up to 10 abstracts.
Each abstract consists of up to 250 words (not including title, author names and affiliations, and references), and one figure for a maximum of 2 pages.
Each abstract will be evaluated by at least three reviewers. The highest-scoring abstracts will be selected for oral presentation at the conference.
Important deadlines
- Application: Friday, 16th October 2026
- Notification of acceptance: Monday, 2nd November 2026
- Reviews will be conducted between November 27th 2026 and January 14th 2027
